It’s easy to get kids excited about safety when you make it fun.

A new day, a new year, a new sea of excited faces. You don’t want to damper the enthusiasm of your students on the first day, but you don’t want their excitement to lead to carelessness and possibly injury.
One great way to keep the energy levels up and turn minds to safety is to start your session off with one of our theme day lesson plans.A pre-school lesson plan that takes a unique and creative approach to teaching the challenging first day of classes is a nice way to introduce  children to the basic structure, rules and routines of a daily gym class in a fun, safe and easy-to-learn way.

In our Orientation and Safety Lesson Plans, we not only divide activities and suggestions by age groups, we remember that parents are just as important safety students as their children are. Of course, they are also excited to get moving and get involved and it’s important to let them know that sometimes being right beside their little one is more of a safety hazard than a safety net. For example, on the trampoline: remind parents this is a child-only zone.

Set up a safety circuit

Get everyone moving and grooving with a safety circuit that moves them through the gym and different types of equipment.
A new session is the best time to teach children the right and safe way to be in the gym. Make it fun and you’ll be sure to see the payoff in all of your classes to come.
